I woke up around 3 am to the sounds of crashing thunder and flashing light through the blinds. Sure enough, there was a crazy rain and thunder storm right over Somerville. It was like someone was standing outside our apartment shining a flashlight through the windows. I filmed some of it because it was just amazing how constantly the lightning flashed on and on.

I was finally able to fall back asleep, of course, with a pillow over my head to block out the flashing light!
