I believe it took living sixteen years here in New England before I realized that blueberry picking was even possible. Last summer was the first time my daughter and I made the drive up to Parlee Farms in Tyngsboro, MA to try our hand at the pick-your-own blueberry experience. It was a particularly hot and humid summer day, and as the sweat on my forehead fogged up my sunglasses I wondered why in the world we were even there to begin with! (It was still fun and worth it … just sweaty!)
Taken while sitting in traffic on my way to work one morning.
Hello fall. I can’t believe it’s already November. Time really flew by this year, but then again, I think I say that every year.
I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on my way in to work one morning and instead of being upset (I mean, what can you do really, right?) I kept staring up into the beautiful tree limbs full of colorful leaves. I snapped this photo because I liked the stripes formed by the clouds. It’s scenes like this that make me appreciate the gorgeous New England autumns. Take it in while you can because before you know it winter will be here and so will the snow!
