I inadvertently took a break from blogging in August and September … but hello, October!
My first post for this month will be like a warning that if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you’ll probably be overwhelmed by new greeting card designs over the next couple of weeks. I’m prepping inventory for two upcoming shows (details on the right of my home page – click for more info): the Arlington Open Studios in October and a Holiday Craft Market in November. Here are some of my latest creations to show what I’ve been up to at the wee hours of the night (errr, morning … whatever):
I’m learning that with a toddler, that means super late nights and less productivity than I’m used to. I’m also learning that her little friends have 2nd birthdays coming up everywhere, so I’ve been trying to come up with more “kid friendly” designs. I made this one for her little buddy, James.
Having fun with old and new stamps.
And believe it or not but Christmas (and all the other winter holidays) will be here before you know it! You bet I’ve started creating holiday cards. I’m trying a new thing by incorporating sequins like the ones used in this design.
So please mark your calendars and stop by to one of the two events to say hello as they will be the last two shows that I will be doing until about this time next year.
Off to be crafty again … 🙂
