My sweet boyfriend took me to an Italian restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island to celebrate my birthday this year. It’s called “Mediterraneo” and it is in the Federal Hill area of Providence. We had a wonderful carpaccio appetizer and chianti. I was a glutton for a day and got the surf and turf … a yummy chunk of filet mignon with stuffed shrimp served with a salad and mashed potatoes. YUM! Afterwards, they gave us each a little serving of limoncello. Very good food and great service … and no, I didn’t eat the whole steak myself! 🙂
