Homemade Oreos recipe in Joanne Chang's Flour Bakery cookbook

Yes, you guessed it, the Joanne Chang Flour Bakery cookbook love continues in this post …

The first thing I decided to make from her cookbook are the Oreo cookies since it’s my husband’s favorite thing from her bakery.  And it was incredibly easy to make them!  Her instructions are easy to follow and I think it really did help to use a scale to measure the dry ingredients like the flour and confectioner’s sugar so that I could add them by weight.  My husband thinks that they taste just like the ones in the bakery so I think it was a success!  :- )  Not sure what I want to try to make next from the cookbook, but you know I’ll post something about it here.

Simply yummy and super easy to whip together!

I went to the book signing on Saturday. She made these and I sampled one. Not bad at all! She seems so nice.
