I got a box in the mail the other day and it contained two pounds of Peet’s Coffee along with a thermal coffee mug (not photographed above). The following day I got another box in the mail and it contained a Tervis Tumbler. Both of these are part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker program, so this is one post about two great products.
The two types of coffee that arrived (the one that isn’t photographed here is the Cafe Solano blend) are part of Peet’s Coffee’s new medium-bodied roast coffees that are available in your local grocery store (or at their store locations). We decided to try the Cafe Domingo blend first, and to test out the Tervis tumbler at the same time.
The Tervis tumbler keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold, and it did just that with the hot coffee. It’s neat that you can personalize them with things like a name, a photo, or one of their designs (they also come in six colors). They are virtually indestructible and are microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe.
I let my husband use the tumbler for his morning cup o’ joe and he noticed that his coffee stayed warm longer than usual. We both like the Cafe Domingo blend of coffee and found it to be nicely balanced – not too strong, not too light – definitely good as an everyday kind of coffee.
These would make a great gift for any coffee-lover in your life, too. I could totally see packaging up a tumbler with this bike logo on it with a pound of coffee putting a smile on someone’s face. 🙂
